The wait is over. The Commonwealth Games Association Ghana has officially confirmed Team Ghana’s participation at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, set for July 23 to August 2 in Scotland.
A contingent of about 40 athletes will carry the Black, Red and Gold into nine sporting disciplines as Ghana targets a stronger showing than Birmingham 2022. CGA Ghana says preparations are at an advanced stage, with technical teams, coaches and athletes already in training to ensure the nation is well represented on one of the Commonwealth’s biggest stages.
The association has assured stakeholders, fans and corporate partners that all logistical, welfare and performance measures are being put in place. The goal is simple: give Team Ghana the platform to compete at the highest level and make the nation proud.

Adding momentum to the build-up, Scottish sportswear brand THB has been unveiled as the Official Kit Partner of Team Ghana. THB will supply both competition and ceremonial apparel, kitting the athletes from the track to the podium.
For CGA Ghana, Glasgow 2026 is more than just another Games. It’s a chance to build on past successes, inspire the next generation of athletes, and fly the national flag high.
As the team begins its journey, the rallying cry remains clear: _Team Ghana – Feel the Power. We Dare To Win. From Ghana to Glasgow for Gold
