The Chief Executive Officer of Accra Great Olympics, Oloboi Commodore, has confirmed that his outfit is poised and ready for action against bitter rivals Hearts of Oak in the Ga Mantse Cup come August 7.
According to him, preparations have been put in place to get his team ready and urged supporters of the club to come in their numbers on that day.
The 2022 Ga Mantse Cup will see Accra Great Olympics take on Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The one-off cup match which is pioneered by the the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, comprises the homowo festival and is aimed at unifying the Ga society, through football.
Speaking during an interview on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM,
“We are yet to win against them in a competitive cup fixture.
“We have only defeated them in league matches so this time round, we are going to defeat them again and win the cup”
“ I can confidently say that since my tenure in office, they are yet to defeat us”.
