The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced plans to conduct a Land Combat Fire Power Demonstration Exercise at the Bundase Training Camp on Friday, October 31, 2025.
In a statement issued and signed by Captain (Ghana Navy) V. A. Arhin, Acting Director General of Public Relations, Burma Camp, Accra, the military said the exercise is aimed at testing the operational readiness of the Armed Forces in defending the country against external aggression.
According to the statement the exercise will involve the use of live ammunition, explosives, and heavy military equipment, accompanied by loud sounds and visible flashes.
Residents of Dawhenya and its surrounding communities have been advised to stay away from the training area during the exercise period.
The public has also been urged not to be alarmed by the movement of troops, military vehicles, or the sounds of explosions that may be heard within the vicinity.
The Ghana Armed Forces assured the general public that all necessary safety measures have been put in place to ensure the security of residents and participants. It also
expressed appreciation for the cooperation of the public during the exercise.
