The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced key developments in the ongoing teacher promotion exercise, including the release of index numbers and dates for the aptitude examinations.
According to the Service, the promotion process is currently underway, with index numbers already sent via SMS to all shortlisted applicants.
GES noted that the full list of shortlisted teachers has also been forwarded to District and Regional Directorates across the country to ensure smooth coordination of the exercise.
Teachers who have not received text messages have been advised to contact their respective district or regional education offices for clarification and assistance.
As part of the process, GES disclosed that candidates applying for the ranks of Principal Superintendent (PS) and Assistant Director II (AD II) will write their aptitude test on December 29.
Candidates seeking promotion to Assistant Director I (AD I) and Deputy Director (DD) are scheduled to write their examinations on December 30.
GES has also assured candidates of support throughout the exercise, urging those facing challenges to reach out to the promotion support team via text message, WhatsApp, or voice call on 0550326931, or by email at gespromotionexams@gmail.com.
