The Ghana Education Service has moved to address the concerns of newly posted teachers who have gone unpaid for 10 months.
Speaking on behalf of the Service, Deputy Director-General Madam Gavua Dzisi promised swift resolution to the teachers’ grievances.
She revealed that the Education Minister was previously unaware of the situation but now stands ready to engage teacher representatives in direct talks.
Madam Dzisi urged the affected teachers to officially document their concerns to help speed up the process.
She called for calm and cooperation as the Ministry works to resolve the matter. Officials say they remain committed to ensuring the welfare of all educators across the country.
