Upper East Football Regional chairman aspirant, Mohammad Munkaelu Junior Attia says he is the best candidate to lead the association.
According to him, incumbent Salifu Shaibu Zida has failed to develop football in the region and it’s time club administrators in the region voted for change.
In an interview on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports he mentioned four key areas to operate as outlined in his manifesto when he becomes the regional chairman.
He indicated the key areas as capacity building, branding and supplying of logistics, a competitive league and to award the players after each season.
“Capacity building of football people to make them understand the game and the laws, restructuring the clubs and make them understand that managing clubs is the responsibility of the entire community not just one individual”.
“Secondly, branding and supplying of logistics is another area I will be tackling. Branding the football to bring sponsors on board and supplying clubs with the necessary equipment to enable them prosper”.
“I will organize a competitive league and bring scouts on board to select players to go outside or play for the premier league clubs and even division one clubs in the country.”
Mohammed Attiah insists his manifesto is achievable because it will not require a lot of money to execute.
“My project is not money draining apart from that logistics. So my manifesto is achievable . I just want to revive football in the region and leave” .
