The Ghana Football Association is reported to have parted ways with Black Stars assistant coaches John Paintsil and Joseph Laumann have been shown the exit door.
John Paintsil and Joseph Laumann served as the two assistant coaches of manager Otto Addo but will not be part of Black Stars technical team for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March 2025.
It is however unclear if the GFA will also sack head coach Otto Addo for failing to qualify the Black Stars to the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco after his winless run in the qualifiers.
John Paintsil and Joseph Laumann will be replaced by a Serbian and Belgian coaches whose names have been withheld by the Ghana Football Association pending official announcement.
The Black Stars will play against Chad and Madagascar on matchday 3 and 4 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
