Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee (NC) member, Naa Odofoley Nortey has urged the new Football Association to beef up its Technical Directorate.
Naa Odofoley in an interview on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports was sharing her experience after working as a member of the GFA NC for 14 months.
According to the lawyer, one particular area at the Ghana FA which needs to be strengthened to develop Ghana football is the Technical Directorate. She also called for a creation of a Referees desk at the Secretariat.
Naa Odofoley also congratulated the staff of the Football Association for their enormous support during the Normalisation period which made their work easy.
“The GFA has a wonderful and talented staff. Most of the staff were not allowed to work or were under-utilized during the old administration. They current staff of the happy were very happy to work with the Normalisation Committee.
She also proposed that the Ghana FA Secretariat may need to recruit more staff looking at the new statues of the FA.
