Dr. Kofi Amoah, the successful Ghanaian businessman, has insisted that Ghana is blessed to have wise and good leaders. However, the “system just grinds them down.”

According to him, citizens have shirked their responsibilities and left them in the hands of the few who are known as our leaders.

He shared these thoughts during an interview with Don Prah on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show aired on Happy 98.9FM.

“If one becomes a President, it is possible that the person will have to make about 10,000 appointments. I think we have abrogated citizen responsibilities to a few people we call leaders and democracy doesn’t work like that. Are we practicing being citizens and not spectators? So, if a few people are selected as leaders and all of us go to sleep we cannot blame them if things are not working. That is not going to work,” he said.

He encouraged all citizens to work towards the betterment of their own future and that of the generation to follow.

Dr. Kofi Amoah has always been an advocate for better living conditions for the Ghanaian people especially the youth in the country. The businessman has always pushed for a strong domestic economy that will support the Ghanaian people and Africa at large.
