Ghanaian football legend, Wilberforce Mfum has declared his support for the upcoming #SaveGhanaFootball demonstration.

According to the 1963 African Cup of Nations winner, Ghana football is currently at its knees and all well meaning Ghanaians who love football should take part in the demonstration to push for reforms.

The #SaveGhanaFootball demonstration which has been scheduled on Wednesday, February 14, 2023, is being organized by a group of sports journalists to fight against the rots crippling the development of the game.

Mfum who was speaking in an interview with Ohene Bampoe-Brenya when Happy FM presented a Samsung Smartphone to him said the game has collapsed and he would have joined the demonstration if not for old age.

“I was sad watching the Black Stars in the AFCON and I believe that things should change. Tomorrow, they need to shake things up with the Save Ghana Football demonstration.”

“I would have joined the demonstration if I had the strength but this is a demonstration that everybody should join for us to push for better reforms to get our game buck on track because we are far behind”

Meanwhile, demonstrators are expected to gather at the Obra Spot at Kwame Nkrumah circle before 7:00 am.
