The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has unveiled its newest arm, the Communications Sub-Committee, tasked with sharpening the organisation’s communication strategy and amplifying the Olympic Movement throughout the country.
The Committee made the official announcement of the sub-committee in a recent statement, highlighting the wealth of experience brought on board by seasoned professionals in communications, sports, and media, aimed at combining innovative ideas to advance the core mission of expanding engagement in Ghanaian sports.
The committee will be chaired by Mr. Ernest Danso, 3rd Vice President and deputized by Mr. Edwin Amankwah, Board Member of the GOC while Edmund Ackom serves as Digital Consultant.
The committee has been tasked with the core mandate to deliver accurate, timely, and consistent messaging that reflects the GOC’s goals and day-to-day activities.
By championing Ghana’s sporting achievements and reinforcing Olympic values across every platform, the Communications Sub-Committee is poised to deepen public connection with sport and strengthen Ghana’s voice within the global Olympic family. “The GOC believes this sub-committee will play a vital role in showcasing Ghana’s sports achievements and promoting the Olympic values,” parts of the statement read.
