Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Several Ghanaian entertainment personalities have expressed varied sentiments about how Ghana got kicked out of the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tournament after they lost out on penalties to Tunisia in the Round of 16 on Monday.

Many took to social media to express their disappointment following the Black Stars’ elimination from the continental showpiece.

Personalities including Sarkodie, Lydia Forson, M.nifest Nana Aba, Stonebwoy, Jupiter, Shatta Wale, DKB, Kojo Cue and Kula GH have also been sharing their views on Tunisia’s win and the match in general.

Following a 1-1 draw after extra-time, the game was forced into penalties, which ultimately ended with 5-4 in favour of the Carthage Eagles after Caleb Ekuban missed his kick.

Tunisia won 6 kicks of the penalty while Ghana won 5.

Year of Return, off to a very good start.

E pain me rough.

I needed a win to brighten up my shitty day.

Still, I know the boys gave it their all; also for the first time in a long time, Ghanaians have been fully behind the boys.

There’s still hope for the #Blackstars
