The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Manifesto Spokesperson on Youth Development, Dr. Samuel Ayeh, has made some strong comments about the New Patriotic Party (NPP). According to Dr. Ayeh, the NPP is known for busing people to rallies to create the illusion of mass support.

He claims that Ghanaians are fed up with the NPP-led government and aren’t showing up to their campaigns, forcing the party to transport supporters with about hundred buses to events featuring their presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Dr. Ayeh emphasized that the same faces appear at every Bawumia event, as they’re being transported from place to place. He cited NPP’s 2024 campaign is dead on arrival, stating that a significant portion of Ghana’s population approximately 62% of whom are youth are showing little interest in the NPP’s campaign.

He argued that Ghanaian youth have become wise to the NPP government’s empty promises and have lost faith in the party, resulting in dwindling attendance at their campaigns events.
