The Leader and Flag bearer for the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has said that Ghanaians are hungrier now than they were in 2016.
He also said the dollar rate that was GHC 4 is now GHC 16 meaning that the dollar has run away leaving the cedi behind.
“When I was in office they said Prez. Mahama is borrowing too much, the debt during my time was 120 billion and today the debt is 750 billion cedis under NPP leadership “.
Addressing Tongo (Talensi) community in the Upper East Region today, August 5 2024, Mahama said Ghanaians made the wrong choice of voting for NPP because they have not experienced them before, but now that Ghanaians are suffering under their regime, they can make a better choice by voting for NDC to redeem Ghana from NPP.
