The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Dr. Stephen Amoah has boldly declared that Ghanaians have regretted voting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) out of power.

Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Dr. Amoah expressed frustration over the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government’s confusion, particularly regarding their own 24-hour economy policy, which they had promised to the public.

He revealed that after conducting research and gathering primary data from 31 NDC Members of Parliament, he found that they all offered different interpretations of the same policy. Dr. Amoah emphasized that the NDC administration seems to have no clear understanding of the very policy they vowed to implement.

“Let’s come to something they call 24-hour economy, I’ve conducted my own research and collected primary data from them. I’ve asked 31 NDC MP’s and they all give different definitions, one policy infinite definition,” he said.

He stated that Ghanaians have deeply regretted their choice in electing the NDC into power.

“What we want to tell them is that Ghanaians have regretted their decision, some are crying due to the prices of fuel,” he added.
