Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has emphasized that Ghanaians prioritize visionary leadership over personal wealth.
Speaking to delegates in the Dormaa West constituency, Dr. Bawumia stated that the strength of a candidate’s ideas, not their possessions, should determine their fitness to lead.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted the importance of choosing a leader with clear and bold solutions capable of driving Ghana’s progress.
He urged delegates to support a leader who can drive development and improve livelihoods, rather than those who use wealth as their primary campaign message.
The NPP Chairman for Dormaa West, Kwame Owusu, expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership abilities, citing his calm disposition and unifying leadership style as evidence of his readiness to lead.
