Ghana's economic rebound is impressive - Nana Addo

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that Ghana’s economic recovery is impressive with growth indicators serving as evidence of progress.

According to him, the Ghanaian economy progressed with a growth rate of 7.2% in the third quarter of 2024 whiles the overall growth for 2024 stood at 6.8%.

Delivering his final new year message on 31st December 2024, he emphasized that the measures and mechanism put in place by his government to navigate domestic and global challenges resulted in the economic recovery of the country. The resilience of the citizens also contributed to this achievement.

ADVERTISEMENT

The President emphasized that the progress and achievement made so far are not just numbers but they represent a brighter future ahead.

“The post COVID 19 years have tested us, but they’ve also shown us our true character as people who rise together, no matter the challenges”.

He urged Ghanaians to be optimistic ahead of 2025 by holding on to the hope that sustained them during the hard times.
