The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) will on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, commence Phase Two of its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise.
This phase, which focuses on body selection and documentation, will involve the verification of documents submitted by applicants during Phase One of the recruitment process, which was conducted online.
Candidates will also undergo physical screening to assess eligibility, including checks for disqualifying features such as deformities, tattoos and multiple piercings.
According to an earlier announcement by the Interior Ministry, the exercise will be conducted in two sessions at all designated centres across the 16 regions of the country.
The morning session will begin at 7:00 a.m., while the afternoon session is scheduled to start at 12:00 noon.
Prospective recruits have been advised to regularly visit the official recruitment portal to confirm their assigned screening dates and centres to avoid missing the exercise.
The Minister for the Interior has further cautioned applicants to be vigilant and refrain from engaging with individuals who claim they can facilitate recruitment through unofficial means.
He stressed that the process is transparent and strictly merit-based.
