Ghana will rise to its greatest height after COVID-19 is dealt with - Mensa Otabil

Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil, has shared an inspiring message about God never being out of opportunities for His children.

This was during his sermon on Sunday, 14th June virtual church service which was streamed live on the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC) platforms, Happy98.9FM, e.TV Ghana, and across the Y-Triangle(Y107.9fm Accra, Y102.5fm Kumasi and Y97.9fm Takoradi).

Ps. Otabil preached that a lot of people tend to exchange their long term blessing for short term satisfaction, or miss huge opportunities and feel like all is lost, just as Esau in the Bible, exchanged his birthright for a bowl of Lentil soup.

According to him, Esau was someone who always lived with a sense of entitlement and believed that everything was going to be great but with just one mistake, he was now looking for leftover blessing.

The pastor noted that even though that may seem like a defeatist attitude, it is a positive attitude and equally like Esau’s father had some leftover blessing for him, he encouraged that God always has some leftover opportunities in store for us.

“Today, if you are in that situation and you’ve missed it big or somebody cheated you or somebody took away what was yours, I came to tell you it’s not over, there is something remaining from God for you..”, he said.

Pastor Mensa Otabil continued that most people do not like leftovers, however, when God favours you with that leftover to make up for that opportunity you have lost, it may not seem big but it will accomplish big things.
