Rising Ghanaian musician, Patapaa Amisty, has finally broken his silence after failing to grab an award at the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Patapaa, who was also trolled for his outfit at the awards ceremony, took to Twitter, a social media platform to communicate with his fans.
Patapaa who was being trolled on social media for wearing ‘oversized’ suit had bragged about winning the ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’

“My one corner hit track will win most popular song of the year in next year’s VGMA’s,” he disclosed. God Opens the way out of the blue, as you all can attest to how viral one corner went, surely it is going to grab the most popular song of the year subject to next year’s VGMA awards,” he said on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra.
However, his door was closed for that Fancy Gaddam to be opened. Fancy Gaddam won the Most Popular Song of the Year with his ‘Total Cheat which featured Sarkodie.
Respond with disappointment on Twitter, the One Corner hitmaker wrote, “God’s time is the best. Everything happens for a reason. Heaven knows I tried my best.#VGMA2018”
