Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has revealed that Black Stars coach Otto Addo is currently owed four months’ salary.

According to Henry Asante Twum, they have put in vigorous efforts to get the government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports to settle the salary arrears but haven’t been successful.

Asante Twum who made this comment while reacting to rumors about the coach being owed salaries assured the public that they will still remind the government about their responsibility in paying the Black Stars coach.

“Yes, it is true we owe him [Otto Addo]. The last time I checked, there were some salaries in arrears, thus four months if we add December 2023.”

“The number of meetings we have had with the ministry and the reminders we have served them, you have no idea. He knows sometimes it is difficult, but we are still working on it,” he said.
