Kofi Kordzi’s late strike secured the win for Hearts of Oak as they came from behind to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 at the Karl Reindorf Stadium in match day five of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians went down early in the game as Liberty scored first through Michael Sefah who headed in a cross into the net.

Hearts missed a lot of chances to get the needed equalizer in the first half with Liberty going into the break with a 1-0 lead.

The second half started with a lot of intent from the Phobians as they searched for the equalizer.

Benjamin Arthur got the equalizer for Hearts of Oak in the 86th minute just after coming on from the bench in the 75th minute.

Kofi Kordzi finally got the winner for the Phobians in the 88th minute to secure the win for the club.

Hearts of Oak have recorded their second win of the season ahead of the Super 2 clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko to be played next Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
