Hearts of Oak’s in-form captain, Thomas Abbey struck a brace as the Phobians made mince-meat of Tema Youth by whipping them 3-1 in their Ghana Premier League week 24 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Abbey, who has hit a rich vein of form, bagged the first and third goals for Hearts while Kwame Kizito grabbed the other. Tema youth however reduced the deficit through Joseph Paintsil.
Meanwhile, beleaguered Accra Great Olympics dug deep to stun the home side Inter-Allies 1-0 at the Elwak Stadium. Benjamin Arthur’s strike was enough to secure all three points for the Wonder Club.
At the Cape Coast stadium, defending league champions Wa All Stars managed a 2-2 draw with Dwarfs as Sharks beat Bechem 2-1.
