West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) showed their dominance at home against Medeama in this matchday seven fixture of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Academy lads secured a 5-4 win over the Mauve and Yellows at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
Daniel Agbloe Lomotey scored the opening goal of the game in the 6th minute for the homeside as he met a cross from left back Joh Tedeku and backheeled the ball into the net.
Godwin Agbevor made it to 2-0 for the academy lads in the 31st minute as WAFA continued with their dominance at home
Daniel Lomotey got his brace in the 37th minute with the second goal of the game
Lomotey got his hat-trick in dying minutes of the first half as WAFA went into the break with a 4-0 lead.
Medeama pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 61st minute through Abass Mohammed.
Rashid Nortey reduced the deficit for Medeama through a free kick in the 67th minute as the scores stayed at 4-2 in favor of WAFA
The Mauve and Yellow were growing in confidence and scored a third in the 73rd minute as they look to get the equalizer.
Daniel Lomotey increased the lead for WAFA with his fourth goal of the game in the 84th minute.
Justice Blay with a thunderbolt reduced the deficit to a goal with Medeama’s fourth goal of the game,
The game finished 5-4 in favor of the home side.
