Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has appealed to the Ashaiman and Tema Metropolitan Assembly MCEs to position permanent taskforce at the newly commissioned Tema Motorway Roundabout phase II project to ensure the place is not turned into a business center.

“I want to give my warning here again . I want to appeal to the Ashaiman and Tema Metropolitan assembly Chief Executives to make sure you position permanent taskforce here to make sure they don’t turn here into koisks, sleeping places.”

According to him, the region would not allow such activities around all projects commissioned so far

“We are not going to allow that because it has cost us lot of money”.

Speaking during the commissioning of the Tema Motorway Roundabout phase 11 project, the minister reiterated his commitment to ensure the Tema Motorway Roundabout is not encroached by hawkers.

“We are not going to allow that”.

Titus Glover appealed to residents to support government’s efforts to improve the city’s infrastructure and preserve its beauty.
