The President of Final Whistle Soccer Club, Johnson Bosompen Oduro, says he is ready to contest Samuel Abobire for the position of Greater Accra Regional Football Association chairman.
According to him, he wants to rescue Greater Accra Regional Football beacuse it has not lived up to standard.
Speaking in an interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports, Johnson Bosompen Oduro said “The Greater Accra Football is crippled with poor officiating and overreliance on the Football Association”.
“The Football is being handled by people who do not have experience and don’t understand the dynamics of the game.”
The Ghana Football Association’s Elections Committee recently unveiled the list of candidates who submitted their nomination forms to vie for various positions in the impending GFA elections.
The Greater Accra Regional Football Elections will be held on 29 September 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
