Several Hospitals under Agenda 111 are expected to be commissioned by President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo today, December 5, 2024.
The hospitals expected to be commissioned include Oforikrom Municipal Hospital and Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal Hospital at Trede in the Ashanti Region.
Hospitals at Kwabeng, Jumapo and okere in the Eastern Region will also be commissioned and other health facilities in Ahanta West, Western Region.
The initiative by this government is to construct 111 hospitals nationwide to provide quality healthcare to the Ghanaian populace.
The Agenda 111 policy consists of two regional psychiatric hospitals in northern and middle belts and one in the Greater Accra together with seven regional hospitals.
