Happy 98.9FM has concluded registration for its 19th annual Valentine Mass Wedding program and is now launching pre-marital counseling sessions for participating couples, with the first session starting on the 18th of January, 2025. Since its inception, the program has united over 600 couples, continuing its mission to make dignified wedding ceremonies accessible to all.

The comprehensive counseling program will be led by two distinguished experts: Reverend Gabriel Sekyi-Yorke, Senior Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church Dansoman South Odorkor, and Mary Anna Adu-Gyamfi, a certified Marriage and Family Counselor. Together, they will guide couples through essential aspects of married life, from understanding marriage as a sacred commitment to building effective communication, establishing financial partnerships, fostering intimacy, and creating enduring family legacies.

Bridget Mensah, Head of PR, Marketing and Events at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), emphasized a focus on building the foundation for lasting marriages through these preparatory sessions. The program has been enriched this year through collaboration with the Bethel Baptist Church Dansoman, which celebrates its 50th anniversary, bringing additional spiritual depth and community support.

For a modest registration fee of 1000 GHC, couples receive an all-inclusive wedding package featuring wedding attire, church ceremony, reception, professional photography and videography, and official marriage registration with both AMA and the Registrar General’s office. The actual value significantly exceeds the registration fee, reflecting Happy FM’s deep commitment to community investment.

The station welcomes corporate organizations and individuals to support this community initiative. “This program offers brands and individuals an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while connecting with our audience in an authentic way,” explained Bridget Mensah. The investment extends beyond the wedding day, creating lasting impact and supporting the formation of strong family units in the Ghanaian society.

The culminating ceremony will take place on February 14, 2025, at the Bethel Baptist Church in Dansoman, South Odorkor. Potential sponsors can reach Happy FM on 0244906235 or 0244143994 to discuss partnership opportunities. Through this initiative, Happy FM continues its tradition of celebrating love and commitment while strengthening family values.
