In the third episode of the highly anticipated Happy98.9FM Happy Bible Quiz, Edward Owusu Sefah was unfortunately evicted from the competition.

The contestant, who had accumulated a total of 11 points, was evicted from the competition after failing to win a fierce battle with his fellow competitors.

Dedicated to the Christian community and spearheaded by the station’s socio-religious show, “Nsempii”, the Happy Bible Quiz will see churches and individuals in the country compete against each other for the bragging rights of who knows the bible.

The ‘Happy Bible Quiz’ contest which seeks to instill the word of God and promote bible knowledge amongst Christians, encourages participants to strive for excellence in Bible knowledge, spelling, literature and other essential biblical activities.

Head of Communication and Marketing at Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company, Ms. Bridget Mensah, speaking after the eviction of Master Sefah shared that, “in every competition not everyone is entitled to win there will definitely be eviction, but all the same we wish Edward the best of luck in all his endeavours and wish to see him again next year.”

Meanwhile, Master Emmanuel Owusu Sefah, expressed his disappointment at being evicted but remained grateful for the opportunity to participate in the quiz.

“I may not have won the competition, but I have learned so much about the Bible and had a great time. I want to use this opportunity to encourage my fellow contestants who are still in the competition to continue to thrive for success” he said.

The remaining contestants will continue to battle it out in upcoming episodes, with the ultimate winner set to receive the coveted title of Happy98.9FM Happy Bible Quiz Champion.

Tune in to Happy98.9FM to catch the next episode of the Happy Bible Quiz and follow the journey of the remaining contestants as they compete for the grand prize every Sunday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
