As part of activities to ensure that couples who took part in the just ended Happy FM Dream Wedding enjoy their honeymoon, the station in partnership with Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), have organized for the couples to tour the Eastern Region. The couples will embark on the tour on Saturday March 3rd.
The fun packed trip, according to organizers, is part of ways to promote tourism in Ghana. The 10 couples who benefited from the Happy FM Dream Wedding will tour some exciting tourist sites like Shai Hills Forest Reserve, Akosombo Dam and enjoy boat cruises at the Royal Senchi among others.
Speaking about the tour, Kwesi Sarpong, Programmes Manager for Happy FM, stated that “this tour is to ensure that the couples enjoy what Ghana has to offer and make their honeymoon a memorable one.”
“We are glad that the GTA decided to embark on this noble course with us. This support is well appreciated and we hope that this relationship will continue in the long term. The gesture will help re-orient Ghanaians on a new sense of national pride in its heritage, culture, and way of life,” he said.
