Happy98.9FM has launched the much anticipated Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding which is set to take place on February 14, 2025.

As the station’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, the Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding is a fully funded community investment event, which supports would-be couples to cement their relationship by organizing a talk of the town wedding ceremony for them.

Happy 98.9 FM takes up the role of family and friends by pitching in and providing all the necessary resources needed to organize the wedding ceremony for these would-be couples.

Programs Manager for Happy98.9FM, Kwabena Ampong speaking at the launch on the ‘Nsem Pii’ show hosted by Kwabena Boafo expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “We invite all couples to join us on this beautiful journey of love and commitment. The Happy Mass Wedding is not just an event; it is a community celebration that brings would-be couples together therefore, I beseech everyone to participate in this unique celebration of love.”

He added that Happy FM provides couples with a wholesome wedding. “From clothes to counselling, to the reception, you name it. Happy FM will sponsor all of these. We will also take you through the registration process to validate your wedding under the law and in the sight of the Lord”.

On his part, the Project Lead for the Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding, Oliver Appiah Kubi said couples do not need to spend so much in the registration process, “with a sum of GHc1,000 as commitment fee, they can join the Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding train to get their wedding done,” he added.

Would-be couples are required to pick up forms at the front desks of any Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Corporation branch (Happy FM at Asylum Down or YFM, Legon City Mall.)
