Happy FM to broadcast all AFCON 2021 Games with live Commentary

Footballs lovers will enjoy yet another exciting season of topnotch commentary on Happy FM, Ghana’s number one sports station, for all AFCON 2021 matches.

Seasoned commentators such as Odiasempa Kwame Oware who doubles as Head of Sports, Alan Green (the researcher), Emmanuel Boadi, KB Asante among others will bring scintillating commentaries in studio and on ground to football lovers.

Speaking about the AFCON campaign, Programmes Manager of Happy FM, Elwood Mantey said the station remains steadfast in delivering top class sports programming and commentary in all matches for the upcoming AFCON.

“Ghanaians can always rely on Happy FM to deliver indepth analysis and engaging commentary and for the the upcoming AFCON. We remain the No. 1 Sports Station and we will continue to champion sports in Ghana; Elwood said.

He added “We have modified our programming to ensure that no game is left uncovered. The popular Wamputu Sports Show and Ayekoo After Drive which airs on Weekdays at 5pm and 6pm respectively will be on hold until the tournament ends. Odiasempa Kwame Oware will be in Cameroon to provide listeners with real time updates and exclusives. Happy fm is definitely the best place for Afcon 2021 on radio and digital.

The AFCON was originally scheduled for 2021, however it was moved to 2022 due to disruptions of covid-19 pandemic.

The 33rd edition of AFCON will have 24 teams, including four times champions Ghana battle it out for gold from January 9 to February 6.
