Happy FM captivated a huge audience at the Kaneshie market today, November 27, 2019 with its community initiative, ‘Happy on Wheels’, as it served loyal listeners with the best outdoor broadcasting of the educative programs on the station.

The Programme featured shows on Happy FM which included Anopa Bosuo Sports, Nsem Pii, and Epa Hoa Daben.

Audience who were present at the Kaneshie edition of the Happy on Wheels programme had the opportunity to directly interact with their favourite hosts in such as Kwame Afrifa Mensah, Odiasempa Kwame Oware, Rev. Nyansa Boakwa and Ohene Brenya Bampoe.

It was a thunderous atmosphere when Rev. Nyansa Boakwa took over for the morning praise and worship session with Millicent Nyarko and Minister Nana Agyeman. Patrons took to their feet to dance and sang along with the Happy FM’s religious talk show host.

Many also expressed their views on current affairs and politics as Kwame Afrifa Mensah challenged the audience and mostly the women to participate and freely express their views in the Around Town’ segment of the Epa Hoa Daben show.

A taxi driver by name Agya Boamah was very appreciative of the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy and commended the current government for its initiatives. “The current government has done a lot for Ghana. I am very appreciative of the Free SHS policy as it has enabled my nephew attended school.” Agya Boamah also complained of the filth at the Kaneshie market and urged all traders at the Kaneshie market to do their bit in making the market neat.

Programmes Manager for Happy FM, Mr.Emmanuel Akrumah was greatly delighted at the excitement that the Happy on Wheels initiative brought to the people at the Kaneshie Market and its environs.

“Our goal was to bring radio closer to our communities. The loud and engaging crowd we have here shows how close radio has gotten to them. We have chalked a lot of successes in other places such as Circle,Ashaiman and Madina. And Kaneshie was no exception. It brings me great joy to see the participation of the ordinary Ghanaian in the development of the country”, he said.

He also urged loyal listeners of the station to anticipate for Happy on Wheels in their communities.

“If you are wondering why the Happy on Wheels team have not visited your community, you will have to stop wondering. Be rest assured that the train is still moving and the next stop might be in your community”, he added.
