Happy FM is filled with genuine elation as Happy Mass Wedding received life achievement awards at the highly esteemed African Wedding Vendors Awards 2023 which was held on the 14th of September, 2023 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

The Mass Wedding has made a profound impact by establishing solid foundations through premarital counseling sessions on crucial matters in marriages.It is to this remarkable and life-altering feat that the African Wedding Vendors Awards has esteemed Happy 98.9FM’s Mass Wedding worthy of the ‘Life Time Achievement Award.’

The  second edition of the African Wedding Vendors Awards celebrated outstanding Vendors who have truly excelled in the event industry.It provided a platform for African vendors, investors, and industry experts discuss strategies for economic growth and event coordination while shaping the African narrative and showcasing the continent’s successes and solutions

Head of Public relations, brands and Marketing Unit at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Bridget Mensah after receiving the award expressed her profound gratitude to the organizers for recognizing the station for the second time in a row. She shared that for the past 16 years, HappyFM has fulfilled its social responsibility by helping numerous couples realise their dream of a blissful and befitting wedding.

“Over 16 years now we have facilitated the wedding of over 600 couples.The Happy FM Mass Wedding Ceremony has proven to be one of the best initiatives we have ever brought to life and it always feels so fulfilling seeing the faces of these beautiful couples swamped with smiles as we join them in holy matrimony and this is all part of our motivation to keep this going for as long as we can.We are grateful to the organizers of this award scheme for recognizing us” she indicated.
