England legend, Gary Lineker has labeled winger Fatawu Issahaku as a special kid after Leicester City’s comeback win over Southampton in the Premier League.

Leicester City secured their second victory in the Premier League after beating Southampton 3-2 at the Saint Mary’s Stadium on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Despite going down by two goals in the first half, Leicester City staged a comeback in the second half with the introduction of Jordan Ayew and Fatawu Issahaku who changed the game for the foxes.

The game changing performance of Fatawu Issahaku earned him praises from many fans and pundits with Gary Lineker describing him as a special kid.

“What a comeback. What a win. The game really changed when Abdul Fatawu came on. As a Leicester fan, my kids follow Leicester as well. Every time we see the team sheet and he’s not in it, we go, ‘oh no, not again. Why is he not playing? This kid is special.”

While Fatawu provided an assist to begin Leicester City’s comeback, his compatriot Jordan Ayew scored in the final minute of the game to seal a 3-2 victory for the Foxes.
