Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has debunked reports that Corporate Affairs Manager of the club, Kwaku Sakyi was sacked over embezzlement of funds.
However, speaking to Happy FM‘s Weekend Sports, the club’s scribe vehemently denied the report and indicated that Mr Sakyi resigned on his own accord to concentrate on other things.
“Kwaku Sakyi resigned wholeheartedly to concentrate on other things,” Opare stated on Happy FM.
“He has returned the 10000 cedis to Hearts of Oak before he resigned.”
Meanwhile, the club has had a difficult start to the season, having already lost four games in 11 matches.
The Ghana Premier League is however on a two week break. The Phobians have an outstanding game with Champions Aduana Stars.
