Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief, Elvis Hermann Hesse has described their home defeat against Medeama SC as embarrassing.

The Phobians hosted Medeama in the matchday 31 games at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

However, Hearts of Oak suffered their biggest defeat of the season after Medeama recorded a 5-1 win.

Elvis Hermann, took to social media to criticize the playing body of the club after they were humiliated by Medeama.

Speaking about the game in an interview on Happy FM’s Happy Sports, Hermann said, “If you look at the scoreline yesterday, it was very disappointing to the supporters. The attitude of the players on the pitch didn’t look like a team that knew what they were doing, they looked as if they wanted to just give away the points to Medeama. The National Chapters Committee, NCC with our patrons have also tried to win supporters back into the stadium but obviously, with this kind of performance by the club, it would not help our course”.

“When we lose by such margins in a competitive league match, the emotions and morale of the supporters is affected, We the NCC, who are trying to energize supporters are then placed in a difficult spot, “ he added.

Hearts of Oak now sit 7th on the league log with 45 points and will be hosted by Legon Cities in the matchday 32 games at the El Wak Stadium on Saturday.
