Hearts of Oak fans have descended heavily on their players following their defeat to Accra Lions on match day 28 of the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have moved closer to the relegation zone following the 1-0 home defeat to Accra Lions on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and the fans are not happy about their position on the league table.

Hearts of Oak have now won just a game in their last six Ghana Premier League games and are currently 12th on the table with 35 points after 28 matches.

Some of the fans who spoke to Happy Sports after the game questioned the commitments of their players describing them as substandard players who are disgracing their club.

Others also called for a total overhauling as the team is not good enough for them the trophies if they can’t beat Accra Lions, a team who had not beaten them before prior to the game on Wednesday.
