Hundreds of football fans in and around Nungua received their share of Happy FM/Supabets UEFA Champions League train on Tuesday night as Real Madrid squared off against Paris Saint Germain at the Parc de Prince.
Patrons who stormed the Supabets shot at Nunuga were treated with crystal clear live commentary and unbiased analyses from the Happy FM crew which included former Hearts of Oak skipper Bernard Dong Bortey.
The much anticipated clash lived up to its billing as the first half produced no goal but there plenty of chances from both ends of the field.
The leading scorer in this season’s competition, who also happens to the all-time top scorer of the competition, Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 51st minute before Edinson Cavani restored parity in the 71st minute.
And just as the game looked to be heading for a stalemate, Brazilian defensive enforcer Casemiro grabbed the win for the 12th-time champions to help Los Blancos march on to the quarter final of the competition.
The train continues on Wednesday as Tottenham take on Juventus at the Abossey Okine Supabets Centre.
