The campaign strategist of the former Vice Chancellor of University of Professional Studies and presidential aspirant Professor Joshua Alabi on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC); Nii Amassa Namoale has indicated that he is least surprise the Deputy General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP), Obri Boahen is denying his explosive secrete recording.
According to the former Member of Parliament for La-Dadekotopon in the Greater Accra region, he is not surprise the least because Obri Boahen is a lawyer and he knows that lying is not a crime but lying under oath is a crime.
So he is hiding behind that caveat to exonerate himself from the explosive tape that has exposed high levels of corruption and bitterness in the NPP he stressed.
Nii Amassa Namoale made this comment on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra –based Happy FM.
He said the tape has exposed how wasteful the NPP can be in government by gifting fifty million Ghana Cedis for the organization of the party’s conference in the Central region.
He says why the party wouldn’t invest that whopping amount of money into the activities of the dying National Health Insurance and the Free Secondary School, which has been touted as a flag ship policy of the party.
