Former Black Stars coach, CK Akonnor has revealed that he is still owed salaries after four years of being sacked from his position.
According to CK Akonnor, he first took the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) to get his money but he was told by officials of the Sports Ministry to withdraw the case because they want to settle out of court.
However, CK Akonnor hasn’t heard anything from the officials of the Sports Ministry after withdrawing the case.
He told Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy Sports that people are expecting him to constantly make noise about the situation but he doesn’t have to do that before he receives his money.
“It’s been nearly four years and I’ve still not received any communication from the Ministry of Sports concerning the money they owe me. I’ve been treated unfairly.”
