Ghanaian gospel Songstress Rose Adjei has debunked rumours making rounds that she called fellow gospel musician Patience Nyarko cheap and hence can never get married to a pastor.
The ”Lift him high” hit-maker in a telephone interview with Mercy Bee, producer of Ayekoo After Drive show on Happy FM said,
”I didn’t say that at all and I am even surprised because it was this afternoon that I heard people saying I made such comments. Patience Nyarko is my sister and we are all doing God’s work so excuse me to say I can never use such harsh words for her. As I speak with you now, I’m on my way from Kumasi. I went there to do my promotions and it was through the promo that I went to Abusua FM and they said Patience Nyarko has made such remarks and I said being a Pastor’s wife is a calling so if God hasn’t called you to do so, you can’t be. Moreover, I have not seen or heard any pastor call Patience to inform her that his wife is a witch. Also, it is glorious for you to be a pastor’s wife and I playfully said Onaapo, she will not even get so it wasn’t something that I was saying to insult her…no, no, not at all. It’s the bloggers who twisted what I said for their own reasons.”
When asked whether she has called Patience Nyarko to explain this to her, the Gospel Musician said, ”Please I have not been able to call her because I don’t have her number, Patience is somebody that I know very well but we have not had any issues before we haven’t had any quarrel before I have meet her producer so many times.
Rose Adjei is currently Promoting her new single ”Lift him high.”
