I regret being one of the ‘football people’ against Nyantakyi – Berekum Arsenal capo Yakubu Moro

Bankroller of Berekum Arsenal Yakubu Moro has launched a scathing attack on the Normalisation Committee (NC) asserting that their administration led by Dr. Kofi Amoah is worse than Kwesi Nyantakyi’s regime.

According to him, he will not blame the NC much but some elements within the football fraternity who are supporting Dr. Kofi Amoah because of their selfish gain.

“Dr. Kofi Amoah thinks we are fools that’s why he is taking us for granted but I don’t blame he and the NC but I blame some football like Cudjoe Fianoo, Oloboi commodore and Micky Charles who are supporting him because of their selfish gains. That was why he took them to Egypt,” he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Happy FM’s ‘Wamputu Sports’.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee was constituted in the wake of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Number 12 documentary which revealed rot in the nation’s football governing administration.

But Moro believes the introduction of the NC has worsened the country’s football and he has regretted being against Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“Kwesi Nyantakyi is far better than Dr. Kofi Amoah. Things were not bad like this when Nyantakyi was around. I was one of those against Nyantakyi and I have regretted that decision,” he added.

“I will take legal action against Dr. Kofi Amoah if he doesn’t pay me the money he promised for playing the special competition. He should get ready to face me in court because I must get my money,” Moro opined.
