Ghana Premier League goalking winner Yaw Annor believes he should have scored more goals in the 2021/22 season.
The Ashantigold SC forward scored a brace in the final game of the season against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Duns Park to beat Kotoko’s Frank Mbella to emerge top scorer for the season.
Speaking in an interview, the pacy winger has recounted alot of chances missed during the season which could have aided in increasing his tally this season.
“I should have scored more than that,” he said
“For instance , In our game against Kotoko, I should have scored 3 or 4 goals because there lot of chances in that game, again, I have been working on how well I can convert it and score more goals”, he told Akoma FM.
Yaw Annor has equaled Hearts of Oak legend Ishmael Addo’s 22-goal record in a season which has been standing for two decades on Sunday.
