Popular Ghanaian television personality, Nana Tornado has revealed that he put efforts in maintaining the now soured friendship with Deloris Frimpong Manso for years before breaking off.
He was speaking in an interview with Happy FM’s DJ Advicer when he explained that his decision to be friends with Delay stemmed from the fact he did not want any derision from Afia Schwarzenegger who was a former friend of Delay.
“I did not want to do anything that will cause ridicule from Afia because I knew that Delay and Afia stopped being friends because of financial issues”, he said.
He recounts that he was however unhappy about receiving tips from the show he made with Delay even though the show received much sponsorship.
“I was friends with Delay and that motivated me to help her in her show. She used to tip me for my help. I had no problem with that until she had a financial issue with Afia and I became the head of the show. It got to the third and fourth year and I realized that we were getting sponsors on the show; money was coming but she kept on tipping me. I started complaining but I was giving her time”, he said.
The friendship of Nana Tornado and TV personality Deloris Frimpong Manso has since comes to an end. Nana Tornado has revealed that he still holds his hostile demeanor towards Delay and that it is less likely that the two can be friends again.
