The Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi Constituency, Yusif Sulemana has stressed that he knew that Mahama will become president again
According to him, the victory of John Mahama in the 2024 election is not a surprise to him because he knew it long ago that he would become president again.
He added that he told everybody around him and the president-elect himself that he is going to become president again.
“for me I knew long ago that Mahama was going to become president again and those around me I’ve told them several times even Mahama himself. If he will tell you, the day he came and voted and was leaving, he got somewhere and called me and when we were talking I told him that he should go and prepare his ministerial list because he has won and not long he was announced as the president-elect”.
“There are reports of lobbying going on by some party members to be appointed as ministers and to other positions but how do I lobby Mahama for an appointment, the most important thing for me is that now he has been elected president so any other thing that happens is a bonus.”
“Mahama knows me and wherever he decides to put me I will welcome it and if it doesn’t happen like that, I will be fine”, he stated.
