Ghanaian music gem, Kidi, has revealed that he will reject a $2 million juicy deal from Zylofon Media.
Born Dennis Nana Dwamena, Kidi is a budding R&B and Highlife musician.
According to the ‘Odo’ hitmaker, his current label, Lynx Entertainment feels more like family – “family I won’t find anywhere-. For this reason, he will reject a two million dollar contract from Zylofon Media
In an interview with Foster Romanus, the host of ‘The Late Nite Celebrity Show’ on e. TV Ghana, Kidi said that his award has been placed in his bedroom because he draws inspiration from seeing it. He also asserted that he expected to win the Highlife Artiste of the year award since his song won the highlife song of the year award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
He also declared his love for the legend, Daddy Lumba, saying he has a ‘beat’ prepared for a collaboration with Daddy Lumba anytime he meets him.
Kidi also disclosed that he knows almost all the songs on Sarkodie’s Mary album.
He won the fourth edition of the MTN Hitmaker music reality show in 2015.
