The Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Edward Omane Boamah says that, on November 2, 2024, he raised an alarm about FONSTAT’s ballot papers printing errors but the Electoral Commission refused to listen.

In a Facebook post, he announced that, if not for NDC’s #EAGLEEYES during the ongoing printing of ballot materials exercise, the volta and Ahafo regions would have recorded massive rejected ballots on December 7.

“But for our #EAGLEEYES during this ongoing printing of ballot materials exercise, Volta and Ahafo regions would have recorded massive rejected ballots on December 7”.

According to him, the NDC has trained and built robust Human resources in several aspects of election management and its showing promise.

“As I keep emphasizing, election is a process and not an event, so disregard the flawed notion that elections are ONLY won at the polling stations” he added.

On 2nd November #EAGLEEYES raised the alarm bell about FONSTAT’s ballot papers printing errors but the Electoral Commission Ghana refused to listen! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14YWyBT9xM/

The NDC shall continue to be ahead of the Electoral Commission every step of the way.

We have thoroughly trained and built robust human resource in several aspects of elections management and it is showing promise…

As I keep emphasizing, elections is a process and not an event, so disregard the flawed notion that elections are ONLY won at the polling stations.

But for our #EAGLEEYES during this ongoing printing of ballot materials exercise, Volta and Ahafo regions would have recorded massive Rejected Ballots on December 7.

Still keep #EAGLEEYES on the Electoral Commission and the NPP.
