The Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, Albert Commey has debunked reports in the media indicating that he has resigned from his post.
There have been rife reports in the media after the Ghana FA election that Albert Commey has resigned from his post and is set to take up a new role at Dreams FC.
Commey was stripped off the right to vote on behalf of Aduana Stars at the Ghana FA election because he could not align his interest with that of the club ahead of the presidential election.
In an interview with the media he stated, the reports in the media are fabricated and he is still at post.
“It’s not true I’ve resigned as the CEO of Aduana Stars. It’s a complete fabrication and I don’t know where it’s coming from”, he said
“Please ignore those reports because I’m still at post,’ he added.
Albert Commey’s tenure saw Aduana Stars clinch the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League title and they also represented Ghana in the CAF Inter-club Competition.
