The contractor working on the Ofankor–Nsawam road rehabilitation, Maripoma Enterprise Limited has announced a temporary diversion of traffic on the Nsawam-bound stretch between Achimota Neoplan and Pokuase.
The closure, which is to facilitate asphalt overlay works on a section of the Ofankor–White House corridor, will begin at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, 6 December 2025 and end at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, 7 December 2025.
As part of the arrangement, all vehicles heading toward Nsawam will be diverted onto the service road from Achimota Neoplan through to Pokuase during the 12-hour period.
The contractor noted that the traffic diversion forms part of the broader Ofankor–Nsawam Dual Carriageway Rehabilitation Project, aimed at enhancing road safety and improving traffic flow along the busy route.
